In Studies With Neurotic Outpatients, The Drug Appeared To Be Equivalent To Amitriptyline In The Less-Depressed Patients But Somewhat Less Effective Than Amitriptyline In The More Severely Depressed Patients. In Hospitalized Depressed Patients, Trimipramine And Imipramine Were Equally Effective In Relieving Depression.
